So I cheated a bit.. it's just a shrug, and it knit up very very quickly, but Amber seems to like it, and I was really happy with the way it came up. I used this free pattern from Elann, but modified the finishing, and ommitted the lace. It's knit in South Amberican single ply merino hand dyed by moi, and of the 300grams I prepared for use, I only used 137! so I have over half left, which I may put up on the store. I'm not sure how much wear it will get, but at least I can say that I HAVE made something for my daughter!

That is gorgeous!! Amber is beautiful :-)
You might be surprised how much wear it gets, I've found Kaia's very practical for those slightly chilly mornings where you know you'd be taking a jumper off by 11am...
Lovely Sam :) Amber does look pretty in the photos.
wow sam that beautiful and amber is an absolute stunner!
I love it so much Sam! It's absolutely fabulous...and actually I think you might have a problem getting her to take it off LOL!
Beautiful. I think I'll have to make a couple for my daughters too.
