I finished my mums birthday present tonight, with 2 months to spare! I should really manage my time better, because my sisters birthday is only about 6 weeks away and I haven't even cast on for her present yet. Margaret's (aka Mum) birthday present is Wicked. I did a version of Wicked for myself in Silkroad Aran, which she loved, so I thought I would do one just for her. This one is knit in Paton's Jet, which I have to agree with Amber, is just a tad scratchy. Knit on 5.5mm addi's in the size small. In fact, knit pretty much identically in size to my own , although there is no waist shaping in this one. Taking from 26th May until today - so just on 3 weeks, with lots of sock knitting interspersed. I hope she likes it!

It's gorgeous & I am sure your Mum will love it & that was fast too! I also bought the Wicked pattern but keeping it for a summer knit with the Knittery 4ply merino.
