The 'small things' swap was particularly exciting because my swappee was my good friend Tania. I took pains to ensure that she didn't realise her secret pal was me, which was excruciating because I'm terrible at keeping secrets, but I must have been good this time, because she had no idea! I decided on the Emerald Beaded Bracelet from Magknits. It's knit on 1.25mm needles, using size 11 seed beads which are TINY, and cotton that is incredibly fine and yields a gauge of 60 stitches over 10cm. It took only a few nights knitting, and was a lot of fun.

In turn I received a beautiful felted kitchen set from the ever-talented tiKKi.
My swappee got their Secret Sock yarn today, so I'm free to post about it. I was really happy with the way the colours came out on this, so much that I contemplated sending her some Collinette Jitterbug I have here instead and keeping my hand-dyed for myself. I was particularly happy with the little sock I made too, which I put on a keychain.
