I bought some Sea Silk from Jolly Jumbuck when it was on sale during January. It was very much a spur of the moment thing, but luckily I got 1 of the 3 last skeins, and in a colour that would have been first pick for me anyway. When it arrived, it was love at first sight. I simply couldn't wait to do something with it, so I put everything else aside and cast on Gail. I LOVE this yarn, and I LOVE this pattern, it really is a match made in heaven. The colour is 'Amber', and it is an amazingly lustrous gold. The yarn is smooth and silky and a delight to knit with. The pattern is very much of the EZ variety, and assumes a fair bit of competence in lace knitting, and even though I haz none, I managed to work it out without too much drama. The KAL (knit-a-long) at Ravelry at the Beginners Lace group was helpful too!
I'm looking forward to both some more lace and more SILK in my near future!
