Girls day out!

Today Amber and I went out for, probably our first, girls day out! We started out, like any good mother-daughter pair, at a coffee shop where we had a quick bite, before we hit the shops. At Amber's age, the stores mostly consisted of toy-shops, but my avid little reader is also a bit of a bookworm so we also ended up at a couple of book stores. And yes, that is a gratuitous shot of the Molly Bolero.

After the stores, we went to the theatre to see Amber's favourite movie translated to the stage - High School Musical. It was lots of fun, and very well done. It's Patrick's turn tomorrow when he goes along with Jack and her kids. I hope he can sit still for that long!

Love the gratuitous shot. Very casual. LOL Hopefully the boys will all like it today.
