Warning: non-knitting content ahead

And as such, will be of dubious quality!

I had a hankering to do so sewing yesterday. No particular plans, but I had bought some fabric from Gail's Patchwork Emporium a few weeks ago, and desperately wanted to make something out of it. Gail's store would have to be a patch-workers Nirvana. Even I, who only ever dabbles in fabric, was like a kid in a lolly shop, and could see myself becoming a convert if I spent too much time there!

My sewing skills are basic at best, so simple bags are always fun and not too taxing. I was also talked into letting Amber make something too, and I wanted something that I wouldn't have too much trouble assembling, and talking her through.

So I sewed up a little project bag out of this fabulous fabric.

Look! There's a completed sock lurking in there!
And Amber sewed up this shoulder bag for herself, with a little help from me :) Fully lined, and very professional looking!
