These little mitts are made from the pattern Fetching, also knit by just about every man and his dog who has ever picked up the pointy sticks. It's a popular pattern for a reason, not least is that it's quick and very easy. I'm knitting a second pair right now, they'll make a lovely mother's day present, with some left over Jo Sharp Silkroad Aran Tweed in a beautiful scrummy grass green. I'm fervently hoping that I have enough. It's a full ball minus about 3 or 4 meters... wish me luck!
Lastly (and very leastly) I finally have finished Buttony. There have been some stunning examples of this particular pattern out there in Rav-land (this one and this one for examples), unfortunately mine is not amongst them. After a bit of a blocking, and the addition of the final 2 buttons, it's not as bad as I originally thought, and will still get a good wearing, as it's beautifully soft and warm in Merino Spun, but it's really not a favourite. Ah well, you win some, you lose some!
