I love my new cardigan! I love the delicacy of the fabric and I'm very keen to knit another 4ply weight garment, I really enjoyed this one!Knit on 3.5mm needles with 2.3 skeins of Wollmeise Twin in "Ruby Thursday". The pattern is Honeybee by Laura Chau. I love Laura's style and despite my misgivings after all the eratta I discovered in the B-Side Cardigan Saga, I'm keen to try out some more of her patterns. She really seems to have her finger on the pulse of what's popular and has released another lovely cardigan pattern: The Carter Cardigan. I look forward to trying this one out eventually (but not until there's some successful examples on Raverly first!)
Also off the needles is Daybreak by Stephen West. I powered through this in 2 days. It was a very basic knit, nothing complicated or particularly exciting, but the stripes! Oh my the stripes were incredibly motivating! I felt so virtuous using leftover scrap yarn from other projects, and I spent quite a bit of time in the planning of this to get the right effect. I enjoyed knitting this as much as I enjoy knitting Kauni or Noro. I am a stripe addict.
Having the kids back at school and the youngest now in his first year means that there is a whole lot more knitting time up my sleeve, and while eventually I figure I should get my bum back into the paid workforce, for now I am revelling in the peace and quiet and absolute luxury of being unencumbered! woohoo!

The Honeybee looks great on you. You have done a fabulous job. I love knitting with 4ply although it does take a little longer.
