This is the first scarf I have EVER made. And to be honest, it's not something I thought I'd ever make! I'm not and have never been into feathery, fluffy, furry, laddery or fairflossy novelty yarn so the scarf fad of a few years ago passed me by entirely... BUT this scarf just looks breathtaking; simple and stylish and it's made of cashmere! I bought the wool from Purl Yarns - it's Handmaiden 100% cashmere and it's like knitting with clouds - it is the most luscious wool I have ever felt. I've only spent a couple of hours working on it so far, but it is already about 50cm long and no apparent boredom in sight!
